What do you think of my aquascape

I am in the process of setting up my CAD 42 versa. Here is the rock scape I came up with, let me know your thoughts. I made sure to leave plenty of space around the glass, overflow etc.

I like it. You might consider adding one more small rock arch coming off the center rock going towards the left in front of the rock arch that is already there or a small thin rock off the top of the center rock to the top of the rock on the right creating kind of a circular space within. But it is very nice as is.

I like it. What did you use to glue or cement it together? Looks really nice like it's one piece, but did you it in sections so if you need to take something out you can?

If the cardboard below the rock is the glass you are going to have a hard time scraping off the glass but otherwise I like it

Thanks for the suggestions, comments.

thegrun - sounds interesting, kind alike a circle of top archways if I am understanding, let me see if I have some more rock to play with. I have 2 pieces from my bleach/acid wash I havent used because I didnt like the look.

miPapareef - I have used hangars and holes to keep the rock in place, I am going to have the 3 main parts so if I need, I can take those out. I am going to use wetweld on certain pieces to have a second bond or on the light pieces, or bottom wedges for addtional support to make sure the base rock doesnt cradle back and forth.

domb54 - Carboard was what the tank sat in when shipped to me. I am making sure when I place it that I have enough room to get in and aound it as well as my mag float can get to the glass. I am doing bare bottom and will not be scraping the bottom clean, but will do wipe downs if needed.

ThAnks I got the rock from a local reefer who for some reason didn't want them. So I bought it, he said it had been outside for sometime. I bleached and acid washed it and looks great. I think it's not to little or too much. All but one is pukani. Going to add it to the tank and get it wet!!!

I would make the left piece go from back left to the center.

This will open up sand in the front where you can see it. And won't hide fish in back where you don't see them.

skingfast, the cad 42 has the overflow on the left rear side. I wont have sand either. I know it will block the view from the left of bit. But I wanted to fill that side a bit. Thats why its like that.

Looks great!!
WIll that be it for the rock in your tank - you going for the minimalist look?? It's all the rage right now!!
Are you planning a reef or a FOWLR??

One piece of potentially constructive criticism, it looks a bit too symmetrical. When scaping things, you nearly always want to avoid symmetry. To me it looks like a big M. I would try and make the highest point at the two thirds mark of your scape. Good luck!

I thought I was going less on the rocks but filled in pretty good.. doing mixed reef. Seeing it's first water action as I drip di in
