The strongest ive used for sumps of dissimilar materials is "Goop", just donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t get it wet for 24 hours.
but i dont no what "hdpe" is?

hpde is hi density polyethylene..

If your fuge tank is glass.. get glass baffles (cheaper and stronger than plastic), check lowes they even cut to size for you. Ask for scrap and they may not even charge you.

Lowes only has that real thin glass under 1/8"

Goop you dont have mix it. it hold glass and acrylic together for 15 years in some tanks.

why would you want to use HPDE? is it cheep or easy to use?

I have a bunch left over I already cut a piece down and I have a acyrlic sump I think I am going to try and use the Goop/

If you have an acrylic sump just get some acrylic and weldon and do it right the first time. For an extra $10 why mess around trying to guess what will or won't work.

I used goop and it worked great if anyone is thinking of use ing it The baffles are very strong and secure.
