Hey guys,

We have a 65 gallon tank, 70lbs of live rock, 30 gallon sump.

The livestock we have so far are, 2 percula clowns, 1 pep. shrimp, and multiple snails and blue leg hermits, 8-9 colonies of zoos.

We are goign to be getting another pep. shrimp, emerald crab, 2 cleaner shrimp and some more snails and crabs this weekend.

But what fish should we be looking at to add to this 65G????

Thanks for the input!!!!

anythign that has great colors to it, we we're thinking of dwarf angels, how many could we add to the tank? 2 of them? then maybe 2 more small fish?

or is that to much?

Think gobies. Alone or pistol shrimp companion variety. Reef safe wrasses might be another option. Midas blenny is afavorite of mine. Blennies in general are pretty interesting IMO.

Dwarf angels should be kept one per tank. Except in very large setups.

I'd be wary of a dwarf angel, if you keep corals. My flame angel was great for about 5 months, but recently began to pick at my pink zoanthids. Not the orange ones, just the pink ones! It won't let them open, and I imagine they will eventually perish.

Great Dwarf Angel Article

From a recent Reefkeeping edition: I and others have found this article to be helpful in choosing a Pygmy Angelfish. reefkeeping.com/issues/2007-09/jf/index.php

I had a flame angel that was a model citizen for about 6 to 8 months.. and then one day I found it "grazing" on my GSP. before I could get the "angel" out of the tank it ate two sections of the GSP... completely desimated them.

I have a blenny that is a trooper, but also the yellow head goby is a trip to watch as well.

Yellow tangs are extremely lovely fish. The minimum tank size for them is about 75 gallons but if you get a smaller on you could probably squeeze it in there. The are good for reef tanks. It might possibly outgrow your tank though. I like the sixline wrasse as well.

Gramma loreto - royal gramma great color, won't bother anybody -except a bit of threat behavior toward those approaching its cave, and, unlike the Fridmani it won't go after your bristleworms
