Hey Guys, looking for some help. I have a 72gal marine with 150lb LR. Lots of Coraline, water checks out just fine. I have a powercompact, and good flow in the tank. I got a big frogspawn 6 months ago and when i got it, it was a nice white and breen tip. Now it has a brownish color with greenish tips. There are other corals in the tank (not touching) and all look fine. The frogspawn looks fine as it is still wide open, but doesnt have the same bright color. Any ideas? I appreciate your help.

Sounds like when you got it that it was bleached. The brownish color you describe sounds like zooanthellae growing more abundant in the coral tissue. A good thing :).

Thank you

Exactly what Daddeo said :D

Here is a picture of my frogspawn it is really brownish red with bright green tips, but my camera sucks!

Happy Reefing, and don't worry, you are taking good care of it or it would still be bleached ;)

Yep, I agree with the other replies. Sounds like it's getting even healthier in your tank.
