i did a water change with pre mixed rodi water and when i dumped it in the tank the water turned cloudy what happed.
what should i do. please help anyone

we are hoping this was ro/di mixed with salt.

Mixed at 1/2 cup salt mix per gallon.

How much did you put in? Did you add it via the sump or the display tank?

Could it be kicked-up sediment?

Have you recently added calcium or buffer?

Possibly the buffer caused calcium to preciptate from the salt mix. Adding buffer and calcium real close to each other can cause quite a snowstorm.

Possibly just some deposits got kicked up from the bottom.

Good luck: just test it and if ok, don't worry.

Buffer can temporarily cloud your water. No worries. It should clear up in about 15 minutes after adding.

Be careful though with adding buffer. I once added too much buffer to my change water and killed 3 heads of my torch coral and the clouding was so bad I couldn't see maybe even 6 inches into the water. It lasted for about 24-36 hours. Really messed up on that one. I'm lucky nothing else died. Needless to say I added way too much buffer not just a little too much. I am much more careful now.
