What happened to my Carpenter's wrasse

I haven't been feeding as much lately and these fish all think they're ravenous when I do feed them. I had put food in the tank and everybody was going nuts, including the wrasse, there was even some splashing going on. As it all started to settle down, I don't see the wrasse anymore. Waited awhile, put a little more food in the tank...nothing from him. He's always out. Went back and looked in the sump, didn't see him there. Cleared stuff out of my stand and crawled in there to look up into the overflows, and while I was pleasantly surprised by what appears to be a very nice population of live brine shrimp in there, I didn't see my fish. Several scans around the floor revealed nothing. Could he have gotten spined by the foxface or something? This sucks, I really like that fish. :(

Check around the floor & sump again, i had a fairy wrasse that loved to jump out of the tank, home you find him alive & safe.

I've been checking. Was kind of hoping that as soon as I posted this that he would come swimming out again like "What's all the fuss?" Unfortunately, that hasn't happened. The only way he could have jumped out is avoided the light setup and out the back of the canopy. He'd have to be behind the stand or in the back of the stand, which he isn't. My sump isn't in my stand so I have easy room to move around in there. I'm wondering if he somehow ended up in that thin little area between the hard plastic covers of the overflow and the overflow compartment itself? Still a possibility that he is hiding in the rocks after being injured during the feeding frenzy. Hoping that he'll just be out come tomorrow morning. He has been a really cool fish, and he wasn't exactly a cheap little bugger either.

Lights aren't on yet, but the room lights and such have everybody out and swimming around this morning. Everybody but the wrasse. This is a bummer. :(

I would look real good around the tank, remember when they jump they land in some of the hardest places to see.I found my longnose hawk stuck on a power cord all dried out.
