What happened to my thomas mushroom!?!!!

My saint Thomas mushroom reproduced in my tank then maybe 2 weeks later it didn't open up normally as it would. The next day I looked in my tank and it's GONE!!! I mean completely disappeared with not even a trace of it!!! Can anyone tell me what happened to my coral?!? I'm just shocked!

What do you mean reproduced, like it split in half? Look around your tank, it could've detached from the rock and floated over somewhere... You might want to try the Corallimorph (mushroom) forum though

It didn't split it reproduced little cells all over the tank. I forgot the right word for it

Sounds like it was being stressed so I would guess that it detached looking for a better spot and is floating around somewhere, behind a rock or something.
