What happened to my torch?

So I fed my fish some mysis shrimp about 20 min ago and walked away to do something else. when I came back, half the torch looked like it was about to die! Has anyone ever had something like this happen to theirs so quickly? My only thought is that it must have had something to do with the shrimp but damn did it happen quick..

Isn't it just eating?

I blow mysis in mine and it contracts either to work the shrimp down (assumption) or because I just blew it gently with a turkey baster.

I thought of that but I have not seen it contract like that before, even after eating. I was not spot feeding either. Is that how yours looks when you feed it? Im hoping you are right and it is back to normal by the time I get home today..fingers crossed.

yeah it usually gets tight while eating- again assuming it is eating, but maybe because I spot feed.

It also does this almost daily at lights out.

Mine does that all the time. Not even just after feeding. This morning a couple heads were pulled in, they're back out now. It's gone from 4 heads to a dozen the last few months, doing that all the time, definitely nothing to worry about.
