What has the biggest Polyp? I'm confused

Ok so heres what I think I know

So what are the different types (please use common name and scientific name)? I hear about Zoo's and PE's and Palys a lot.

What are the size of each one (please use a measurement such as "size of a pencil eraser" or "about the same size as a quarter")?

What are the major differences of each one?

What's the biggest one? I see them in dull colors at the LFS a lot.

in my tank, the zoanthids are usually the size of a pencil erasor or a bit larger and the protopalys (aka PE's) are the size of a dime or a little larger. I'm not sure about palys or others.

while on the topic of size, does anyone know how big purple deaths (i think i heard they are paly grandi's) get? I just got mine :dance: and it is about the same size as the rest of my zoas right now. is it expected to grow or is this their average size?

Proto grandis or hawaiiensis (sp?) would have to be the largest. I've seen some grandis that were 2+" in diameter.
