Hello everyone I have a 55 gallon tank that I set up with some live rock and some fish. I would like to get some anemones but not sure if I have equipment that will work. Here is what I have.

(2) Emperor 400
(1) Fluval 204
(1) Heater
(1) Powerhead that is way to strong.
About 40 lbs of rock
(1) Yellow Tang
(1) stripped Damsel
(2) Yellow Tale Damsel
And the following light.

That's a T5 fixture, correct?

How old is your tank? Wait at least 6 months before getting an anemone, they need incredibly stable water conditions.

I believe it is. I'm not sure. I got it from a guy who had a hook up and was trying to sell what he had. My tank is about 4 months old. I'm going to wait a little longer until I know it's ready for sure.

Lighting is fine. If you can cover your powerheads and filters it will work, and provided those powerfilters aren't spitting out too much nitrates. What are you current nitrate levels?

With those lights I would not try anything more than a BTA. If you had individual reflectors on the T5 bulbs then you might be able to other anemones.

I'll check the levels in a while. My friend told me they were a little high about a week ago before the water change.
