What ICP test is considered reliable now.

Maybe it isn't a thing anymore. There were posts by frequent testers that they were getting inconsistent results from some tests. Also when I looked the brands offered weren't ones I have used before except for Triton.
Fauna Marin - ATI - Triton - Reef Labs are available between BRS and Premium Aquatics
They are pricey too and have multiple options for testing. I am assuming I need the ones labeled reef.
Sorry Ned, just saw this. I’ve never used ICP.

@Reefing102 @JCOLE have you guys used one?
This might be my 4th time. Nothing I am doing is returning the expected results. Or it could be me. An ICP can stop second guessing. I cant do a big enough water change to do much. I could probably make 160 gallons, but that would only be 15%. I am having the worst cyano algae I have ever seen. I turned the lights down. I have been cleaning the gravel with a vac I made, and I got N and P where they should be. It is growing on everything in the tanks, walls, macro algae, rocks sand and plumbing. And mostly it is ugly but not hurting anything so I have been patient. 2 rounds of chemiclean removed it. It was back in 2 weeks. I have restarted AWC of 7 gallons a day.

I guess ATI will do fine. The pro version seems equivalent to what I have done before.

I mentioned to another reefer that I was experimenting with Aqua Forest life source. Aside from making my corals look happy it had the unexpected side effect of eliminating some snotty brown goop that has hung around in my tank for years and every speck of cyano too. It's a weird product but might be worth a look.

I got some of that. I ordered a large clean up crew from reef cleaners and the ATI ICP pro.

I was running the gravel vac and turned up a conch that must have been in there years. I wish I lived near the ocean.

I have used ATI and ICP Analysis many times. I also have a Fauna Marin one sitting on my desk that I need to try. I always had good results with ATI.

I use fauna Marin at TSAs farm, we compared FM to ICP- analysis, Triton and oceanmo by sending multiple samples from same systems/ times and found FM to be the most consistent. Also recently learned that a few large public aquariums here in the US also utilize fauna Marin for ICP testing.
Surprised sometimes how fast I get results, I'll send out 13-14 samples at a time using 2 day shipping to coralvue - who sends them to FM in Germany and usually I get results in 7-8 business days or less
