What in the heckis this

I just saw the blob looking thing under some LR. It was stuck to the substrate and looks like it's full of krill. It's a translucent pink color.

it is actually a couple chucks of krill with a heavy bacterial slime coat, do you have scavengers in your tank at all?

willing to bet if you break it open it's a couple chunks of rotting krill....

unless you dont feed krill then it's probably a weird sponge but I dont see any of the natural channels and holes that would indicate it being a poriferan
