Ever heard of its the thought that counts? I don't find anything Snorvich said to be outright rude. In fact I'd say he's been very helpful all things considered. All he wanted was some info you failed to provide, he may have asked for it in a matter of fact way but he definitely didn't insult you.

Can you get a better picture of the wound/discolored area?

I'm a big proponent of NitroFuracin Green powder from National Fish Pharm. It's a broad spectrum med with anifungal and antibacterial properties and I've never had negative effects on my fish when using it.

I think I'd be inclined to do several treatments in your quarantine system with this or a similar product and make sure to feed top quality foods soaked in supplements, I like alternating Selcon and Vitachem.
