What is a good coral for lower lighting?

Hey people! I would like to know... What is a good/pretty coral that can live in moderate lighting ( I haveT5HO lighting ). Plus, one that can live in a 20 gallon long tank. If this helps, I have a clownfish, coral banded shrimp, starfish, feather duster, live rock, and sand. Oh yeah, please tell if you know of a coral that can host/and are know to host clownfish that would great! Thanks! :spin3:

your usual frogspawn type will thrive as long as you keep your phates and trates low, and your calicium, alk, and mag at great levels...weekly water changes might be enough...

also, acans...

Lower lighting sps, montipora (all sp.), turbinaria, lokani, pocillipora. T5 can be plenty to havve any sps depending on how many you have and the reflectors.

Depending on your T5's, T5's in general can provide more than enough light for SPS.

But as far as low light goes, I've found montipora capricornis to be the hardiest and easiest to keep thriving. They also come in some nice hues that are striking when they form a large cup.

I would have to say my favorite SPS is a birdsnest coral. Several to chouse from. But at the same time just depends on your what your considering low lighting.

LPS I love the purple torch coral with green tips.

I have T5HO lighting.. 2 bubls one actinic and 10k.

your lighting is not gonna support sps corals. You need to try some easy beginner corals first and get the hang of them first. once you have your tank for about a year and had good growth with softies/lps maybe try some sps, but there really for the advanced aquariums since your tank need extremly clean and stable water conditions.

you would need at minimum 4 bulbs if not 6 ... however there will be too much fluxuation without a sump or topoff to help.
