what is a secret for zoo's?

I'm wondering... what is the secret way to make zoo's spread more and have more polyps?

frag to colony you have (for example a colony of 25 polyps or something) into 5 polyps each or so. Glue these frags onto a larger sized rock sperated from each other by a decent space. Those five frags will grow quicker seperated from each other than the would if it was just a 25 polyp colony. Oh yeah and then leave them alone..

I've done this with some eagle eyes I have on the tonga branch. I glued about 20 polyps in a 5" or so spread. In about 3 months I had a tonga branch covered with eagle eyes.

how do you recommend getting them off the rock?

I use tweezers and gently lift them from the rock.

Use superglue. I use a razor blade to cut zoo's from the base of the rock. as well.

Very good idea. I will have to try that. I have read about that. By fragging zoos they tend to spread faster!!!

I read recently you can feed phyto to them. I just started trying it to see how it works and to boost my pods.
