What is better, AquaC Nano Remora vs Tunze Skimmer 9001

I am looking for a skimmer for my 29 gallon new beginner reef tank. Something small and hang on the back.

Which is better between the AquaC Nano Remora vs Tunze Skimmer 9001 ?


Has anyone here owned both?

My friend started off with the aquac skimmer and it did a decent job but went to a tunze skimmer and was amazed at the diffrence between the 2, the tunze pulled out i would guess 50% more than the aquaC and was quieter. Not sure the tunze model he had though.

Very nice. I had actually just purchased a Tunze but it did not arrive yet. I was wondering if I made a mistake but you confirmed that I made the right decision.

Remoras are better skip the nano go for the remora S skimmer the bigger one that's what I have on my JBJ 24 gal nanocube I had a tunze 9001 skimmer as well I like the remora s better I belive it's more powerful and pulls out more impurities from the water. The remora S is easier to adjust and has a drain pipe too.

Both skimmers are bad and plus you don't need a skimmer that small of a tank. WC is the best.

Which one of these have you owned?

Are you against skimmers in general or are these bad brands?

I believe both have a 4 star + rating on amazon.com.
