this is for my second tank, more like a bigger grow out tank with fish.

something has been eating my purple zoas and my green zoas, but leave orange zoas alone also have 4 different kinds of palys. i have torches, hammers various sps.

i know they arent melting away they are being picked off one by one.

so fish/inverts include
yellow tang
domino damsel
blue damsel
6 line wrasse
2 emerald crabs
2 skunk shrimp
2 snails (name escapes me)

i have to disagree on the emerald crab everyone always blames them when i first started to keep emeralds i always thought they were eating my zoas but they really just eat the crud on/around them....

Have you watched the tank after the lights go off. Use a Red led flashlight an check out the tank after the lights have been off for a couple of hours. All kinds of little guys come out at night.:)

I don't have any asterinas. There is not much in this tank, it's purpose is for a grow out. I used to think emerald crabs before I actually started watching them a couple years back. I'm really thinking damsels or the tang is picking at the plugs too aggressively.

ive also had problems with emerald crabs (just one crab) he ate all of my fish and then i told my lfs that i purchased it from and they took it back and it ate all of there emerald crabs lol
