What is everyone using to scrape algae of acrylic tank?

magnetic scraper with felt doesn't seem to work well. Looking at Continuum Aquablade with plastic blade. Just wanted to see what everyone else was using.

I won a Tunze Clean Care magnet at a frag swap last weekend. Love it. Had a 'flipper', which I also liked, until I got the Tunze. Much better design. Plastic 'blades' should be acrylic safe (my tank is glass...)

I use Mag-Floats on my acrylic tanks, but even if it's a Mag-Float made for acrylic I still cut a thin (1/8") Mr. Clean eraser slab to put on the inside. I've started doing this for my glass tanks too.

I don't use them but Bulk reef supply carries scrubbers and blades specifically for acrylic.

That's a great idea! I may give that a shot! I just hope my flipper nano has enough magnet power to stick through a thin wafer of eraser.

Doesn't the me clean eraser have chemicals in it?

I know it's a micro fine sanding block in essence. And I know they leave particles as they fall apart.

The "original" ones don't have any chemicals in them. There aren't any particles coming off of mine as the act of cleaning the inside of the tank, and it being wet, doesn't deteriorate the material as you might expect.
