What is going on with my clown biting my rose anenome????

I am stumped. I have two tank raised clown fish that took forever to find the rose anenome. The larger more aggressive discovered it's "host" about 4 days ago. I just was looking at the tank and noticed that he is biting the tentacle of the anenome. Sucking on it almost like a popsicle. Totally bizarre. I called up two of my favorite Aquarium shops and asked them. They had never heard or seen such a thing either. What should I do? My rose anenome is so healthy - and does not seem to be too happy with this activity. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

It is completely normal for them to do that.

normal as dubbin said, the only time i heard a problem with this is if the anemone is alot smaller than the clown it may injure it enough to kill it

Agreed, my clowns nip and tug at their GBTA all the time.
