I have this red monitora that it turning white in the center. At first I thought it was too much light but it does not change anywhere in the tank. All of the new growth looks normal to me. But the center is white and continues to stay that way. Does it need more flow? I'm am stumped at this point. I had a dime size piece snap off when I first purchased it. That is glued to a another rock and has tripled in size. It is higher in the water column, and has no white.
All water parameters are fine. Phosphates are a little high at .5 but that has been that way for close to a year.
Thank you.
Kris.
