I just hooked up my Neptune Jr. controller and the ORP levels are 272 when I last looked. Can anyone tell me is this good or bad, were should my levels be at?

There isn't much in the tank, its about 3 months old. 5 fish and 6 or 7 corals.

IME it is not the level you should be worried about but the change in level. No two tanks will give the same ORP level even though they are both healthy and thriving. Watch it and see what is normal for you.

I agree you want to manage change first. But if you can get your ORP above 300 it is a good thing. I run at a consistent 355. I was not able to consistently stay above 300 until I got control over my Nitrate (0) and Phosphate (0) levels.
