what is he doing?

I saw my octopus doing a weird thing and I know it has a name. He balled his arms together and wiggled them all over, it looked like he was washing his hands or something. What is he doing and what is it called? Anyone know?

Sounds like he was shedding his suckers...

Dunno if there is another name for it but I have seen all my cephs do that before.

Ah yes, thats the video. I saw that one a while ago and then forgot where it was. Yea thats exactly what my octopus was doing except a little less dramatic.
