What is it worth?

I found this gem at a local fish store for $650 it's 3/4 inch thick acrylic. It is 220 Gallons and is predrilled at the bottom and on the sides. I was thinking one for refugium and one for closed loop. Is this a good deal or not? The $650 includes them cleaning and getting rid of any scratches they can. I've never owned an acrylic tank, so I have no idea the value of this one. Please let me know what building one new would cost, and what you have seen them go used for before.

acrylic tank that size would cost alot more then 650. I think it is a good deal, They are going to clean it for You, that's a plus , When You set it up take your time and do what ever drilling you may want now, You may want to put in a CLS if you plan a reef tank. I would pay that,

good deal IMO......especially since they are going to clean it for you. My Perfecto glass 220 was $600+, was not reef ready

yes its a good deal. I bought a scratched up 240 for 400 with the scratches for my sump. They were deep and could not be buffed out so it was scrap ( or sump )

Would be nice if they would clean it up and get rid of the scratches before you commit to purchase. Then if you don't like it no loss to you and it will look better for them to sell. I would at least ask. Good luck. Michael R
