What is it?

Since i've been back down to school I have neglected my tank slightly compared to usual maintenance because of school work. During this time something has some what taken over in my tank. The best i can describe them as are long brown threadlike worms... maybe? In any case, they are starting to cover all my corals (mostly softies and zoas) and keeping them from coming out completely, if at all. Any ideas of what they might be? I can't get a clear picture with my camera. Also what can I do about them? I have a reef dip it that helps.

Most likely bristleworms. If they're in the sand and radiate out from a a central spot then they're probably Spaghetti Worms. Sand-sifting stars are the best cure for those. Some wrasses and dottybacks reportedly eat bristleworms, but prefer other foods (wouldn't you?)

I know they are not bristleworms and spaghetti worms came to mind when I first saw them but they are all over the place and don't seem to have one central location that they originate from (at least from what i can see). I have a sixline, but obviously he isnt doing anything for it. So if it is the spaghetti worms, what are other treatments? If not, any other ideas on what it could be?

Like I said before, if they are Spaghetti Worms, sand-sifting star will take care of them. The worms were in every inch of the deep sand in my 90. After adding 2 SSS's, my sand is clean except for a few worms here and there. Copperband Butterfly also helps out, also picking at worms in the rocks.
