What Is It???

Okay I have something coming up out of a rock, it kinda reminds me of Aiptasia but it isn't the right color, and seems to be a little too big, it is opened up like a zoa but looks a bit like a curly q and it's a darker purplish color. Any ideas?

A picture will help, but it sounds too much like aiptasia or majano.

it does look like a majano. Kinda cool long as it doesn't spread, oh well I will keep an eye on it thanks everyone.

If it is majano, I recommend that you get rid of it quickly. They reproduce well in our tanks and not many things eat them except for Racoon Butterfly. You don't want a Racoon Butterfly in a reef tank.

LOL yeah no doubt about that. They can take coral out fairly fast from what I hear. Thanks all.
