Just wondering what u guys use to dip ur zoas and palys in after u frag them?
Please discuss and say what dosage thanks :)

Lugol's.
About 3 drops to every 8 - 10 oz of fresh water or tank water for about 1 to 3 minutes.
The only purpose of dipping after you frag them is to avoid bacterial infection through the open wounds.

Grandis.

Yea when i fragged my red hornets i had about 20 polyps on fragplugs all but maybe 6-7 melted like 2 days later.. I was ****ed
Do u dip them before gluing to the plugs or after??

You can cut the frags, glue them on the plugs and then dip before place them in the system.
But you can do either way: before or after gluing.

Lol having ur prized zoas melt within 2 days

Some zoas dont like being fragged.. For instance when i fragged 15 red hornets worth 30 per polyp 6 survived, other 9 shrunk, closed up and turned white and died within 2-3 days..
On the other hand i fragged probably 30 greenbay packers and not a single one perished using same method of fragging and not dipping. Thier definatly is a reason why some zoas are 100.00 + a polyp im sure some of the more rare ones might have higher mortality rates

:lmao::lmao::lolspin: I think your onto something.... Higher price per polyp makes them harder to frag.......................................

Lugol's
Price per polyp always make me ill.
Years back they came on big rubble with hundreds of polyps.
When happend?
Thanks to my club and trading I never buy that way.
