What is the best way to drill a ASM Skimmer

I could probably just take the pump up to ACE and see if it fits right?

let me know how easy it is to do. I really want to do this mod and the gate valve mod.

Yeah you could do that too. I will probably do it this weekend. I was messing with mine tonight and found out why it is not working so well like it use to. I had the power off in the sump and noticed one of the pump is blocked not pulling a lot of water so I'm guessing that is not allowing it to suck as much air as well.
