What is the best way to feed anemones?

do you feed the food to them frozen or do you unfreeze it. Also the shrimp you feed them and other fish do you get those right from the grocer. and can you get allot and freeze the rest or do you always have it fresh?

It usually thaws shortly after putting it in the water. Best to have it thawed.

Food is made from fresh, not cooked seafood. See my post above, or anyone else's for that matter....just be sure it is raw.

I usually place a silverside on its tentacles/nubs (Green carpet, haddoni) and watch as it curls it up and starts to swallow it. And within a day or 2 you should see some nasty dark snot like thing come out of its mouth. Thats when I know to feed the next day!

I agree on the feeding, I give mine a piece of formula one or krill once or twice a week and it's easily doubled in size in a couple months. Also, when I got him from the LFS, he was a milky white orphan from someone's tank, now he is developing a wonderful iridescent green on his mantle and tentacles.

I don't even bother feeding my GBTA anymore but when I did I would feed it half a silverside with tongs.
