I just posted a message on a thread and then read some of the other threads. Wow, I guess I lot has gone lately. I am disappointed to hear and read the updates. While I have converted to freshwater, I fully anticipated coming back some day, but never thought there was a potential to disband or fracture the club.
I had proposed the potential of having a joint fall event (Frag swap) for both the freshwater club and the saltwater club as sister clubs. I realized it would be too late for the FW to jump in this year, but thought we could consider something next year. It would increase the attendance and expose the area to both fresh and saltwater hobbies.
I pitched this to the FW club and they are interested, but I am not sure I have a full status of this club as I see threads that sound like it shuts down, and others that maybe it doesn't.:sad2:
