Good question, I'd love to know as well. I've kinda set mine but it sends the same error message and the warning message constantly once the alarm is triggered.:rolleye1:

the pc sends the emails directly from the pc but the pc must be connected to the profilux for usb / rs32 or ethernet at all times

The profilux sends emails directly from the profilux if it is connected to the internet via ethernet although i have not managed to get this working and the support from GHL is very poor!

Email Profilux use the controller internal webserver to send the alert to your email. You have to connect the controller to the network(direct or via wireless bridge).
Email PC is using the PC that's connected to the controller to send the alert to your email. Your PC has to be on and connected to the profilux. A waste of resource IMO.

FYI-this option isn't much better. I requested support on that forum on this exact issue over three months ago with no resolution.

No support tickets open on our forum from what i can see, maybe email me or pm me if you have an issue or if something has been missed instead of waiting 3 months, we are only human and errors can be made, why wait 3 months then post here?

Correct we do want people to post on the other forum for support but we do not see any post from you especially 3 months old, I am sorry but I cant even find your registration, so having your username would be a great help to assist you personally and directly.

None of those posts are from you in the thread you copy above, only Mdrumm and Gareth replying, so I am a bit lost as your above complaint was that you posted 3 months ago without a reply, maybe you posted another forum but I cant see a post by you or a registration by you, which may explain why you never got a reply, so please send me the link asap with your username.
