What is the difference between the DFS "True Red Dragon" and the "Red Dragon"?

I noticed that LA has two different names on their red dragon corals. Any idea what the differences are between the two? Thanks.

Maybe just the letters DFS put infront of Red Dragon. I think that I will rename my Oregon Tort to Conch Reef Tort :hmm3:

A lot of maricultured coral suppliers are claiming to have "Red Dragon" acropora for wholesale, it is close but not the same as the original RR/Tyree Red Dragon.

So it could be a "Maricultured Red Dragon" and a RR/Tyree Red Dragon

I think you're right. I ordered the "true red dragon" so we shall see soon enough.

Yeah, mine looks more purple now. It was never really red to begin with. The growth is pretty good as it has sprouted numerous branches.
