what is the differences between Profilux II and III ?

AJ I stand corrected. I thought these were available for PII users but the manual states:

"Eco Tech control Module from GHL. This is a PAB controlled device and as such can only be installed on a ProfiLux 3 Aquarium Controller."

"With our VorTech-Controller ProfiLux 3 computers are able to operate up to 11 radio controlled VorTech® propeller pumps from EcoTech Marine® independently from each other. The VorTech-Controller will be connected over PAB (ProfiLux Aquatic Bus, ProfiLux 3 only) and doesn’t need any additional power supply."

So upgrading to from the II to the III would enable you to run the Vortech module....I'm under the assumption with the upgrade your unit would have the PAB........

Unfortunately the option for Upgrading your PII to a P3 is no longer available. It was discontinued back around October if memory serves me well.

I just looked and the Upgrade Option ended October 14th 2011. This was a GLOBAL policy change and is no longer available anywhere.

Now selling your PII and using the $$ to purchase a P3 is of course a viable option.
