What is the hardier, A. japonicus or A. Leucosternum ?

i am considering adding one of those two tangs.whats the hardier one in your opinion ?

I'll let others chime in, but I believe Powder Blues are considered a little hardier compared to Browns. Then again, Blues are also known to more aggressive than Browns.

What size tank do you have, and what tankmates?

I was thinking just the opposite. Either way, I wouldn't classify either as "hardy" and would look into other species if that is a trait you are seeking.

AT moment no tank but plan to build a 200g and include Only tang Other fishes will be mainly wrasses.

They are both kind of fragile to get acclimated, so you'll probably get mixed results...

When adapted after good qt both would be similar in hardness. But it is easier to find japonicus powder brown speciemens that adapt faster to aquarium conditions...
