what is the minimum lighting you need for LPS??

I have 97.5w power compacts?Not enough for nems but what bouts LPS?What are hardy beginner LPS? I also have a new tank and im a beginner in LPS so i need something easy.

Hammers and frogspawn are lower light and easy to care for.
If you kept these at the top you should probably be OK lighting wise.....in general they are easy to care for.

I would also recommend a Caulastrea sp. (especially Caulastrea curvata), aka candy cane coral.

Keep in mind there are lots of non-photosynthetic LPS, but I would not recommend starting with them as they tend to be a bit more difficult.
 
FWIW, In my old 75, I have kept brains, euphyllia, xenia, scolys and bubble coral under a 2 x 54 T5 retro (with Ice Cap reflectors).
