What Is The Most Reliable Prop Powerhead?

For my 125g, I've got a pair of six year old Tunze 6060s, a one month old Vortech MP40W, and two MJ 1200 mods. Currently, the tank is being supported by a single 6060 and MJ mod, while I ponder fixing an overheated 6060, continue working through support to get the melted / sheared MP40W wet side fixed / replaced, and insist on relegating the noisier of my MJ 1200s to the salt mixing bucket.

When I bought the MP40W, I figured I was in the clear on pumps with it and the 6060s. I understand now the value of having an extra wet-side on hand for the MP40W (ordering now) so hopefully I can get that one in quickly and back it up with a a repaired / new one from Ecotech for the month old broken one. It's probably unrealistic to expect the Tunzes to run forever, so eventually they need to be replaced.

My question is, I need two pumps, approximately 1500-2000gph each, that I can rely on for the sides of my tank. I don't care about price, I need something more reliable than what I have if possible. Should I just get some new Tunzes? I can't really argue with 6 years of function. Should I just consider my MP40W to be bad luck and go with a couple of MP20s? Is there a better made pump than either that I'm missing?

Thats kind of tough since anything can fail, but I would pick Tunze for reliability. If you are looking for a constant speed pump to replace the 6060, the 6065 is the current model. 6085 if you want more flow. Having at least 2 pumps gives you a good chance that at least one will be working.
