it was ok when ı bought it 2 months ago. after few days it had ich and it had it like 7 weeks. it doesnt have any ich like 1 week but it has skin pworblem now.

did you treat for ich? if you didn't the tang still has ich. that is not a skin problem but the general stress marks that tangs have when they are stressed out. you will need to treat for the ich otherwise the fish will succumb eventually to the parasite.

Has he been eating? I would try and get him to accept some high nutrient foods and try and get him a stress free envirnment where you can QT him.

As mentioned did you actually treat it for ich? And when it got ich or had ich was it in your main tank? If so, did you remove all fish from your main tank for at least 8 weeks?

I only used lipofan and all fish lost their ich. it is really good for ich. powder doesnt have ich but its skin is bad. it is also eating everything no problem with feeding.

Do you mean lipofen? the drug that is used to reduce cholesterol?

In any case, please read the ich stickies on this forum. The only treatments that work are copper, hyposalinity, and tank transfer. Nothing else (including the so-called reef-safe medications) work.

Your system and fish still have ich. The reason you don't see it is because the fish are healthy enough to keep infestations in the gills only. They are, however, still stressed out from gill infections. You need to cure ich with the right treatments, otherwise this is going to continue.

Your powder blue tang does not have a skin problem. That is the stress mark that tangs get when they are under stress from either bad acclimations or parasites. From the photo, your powder blue is under a lot of stress. The first step to resolve that is to actually cure ich.

What is the ingredient (sorry I can't read German)? If it does not contain copper it will not work for ich.

It's an immune system booster like vitamin C. Your system still has ich, and most likely your powder blue is heavily infected in the gills, causing stress and hence the stress marks. Please read the ich stickies in this forum to educate yourself about cryptocaryon irritans, and perform the proper treatment.
