What is this? A hydroid?

These little things have started growing in my little 25 gallon I only have one little fish and some snails plus live rock and live sand.
Any ID Help would be great.

First thing it looks like is a pineapple sponge. But usually they don't have a tail hanging off. If its a sponge then it's a harmless filter feeder.

A pineapple sponge. Harmless. Check your phosphates though, they tend to pop up when they are on the higher side.
