What is this blob on my ricordia???

It’s been there since yesterday and it seems like it got a little fatter today. Just a hair fatter, I think… It doesn’t look as brown as it does in the pic, looks more white in person. Thanks for your help, this thing is bugging me. I don’t know if I should try to brush it off or what.

It looks like a "slipper sponge".

Just peel the sponge off the rock the ricordea is attached to.

Is that coming out of the mouth, it is hard to see.
It might be Zooxanthalle.

Make sure your camera is in Marco mode and hold the camera absolutely still and you will not get a blurry pic. Use a stand and a timer if you shake when you hold the camera.

It could possibly be brown jelly also. I have had Florida rics come down with an infestation of this that ran through my whole colony.

It is showed up yesterday it should be fairly easy to remove. It looks like it is coming from under the shroom.
