Is this soft coral? What is the name?

I'm gonna take a stab and say it's a type of Gorgonian, sea fan.

Looks like a non photo synthetic gargonia. I'm no expert though try googling and see if it matches.

I dont know what species exactly, but I do know that it is definatly non photosynthetic. They can be pretty hard to care for, you can do more reading on them on here. good luck
