That is Cyano and I would increase the flow in the tank. Also try to scrap it off.
That HAS been established now, but thanks for reitterating! :D

Could buy half a dozen Aptasia eating nudibranchs you would have a thriving community in a month then sell off the nudibranchs afterwards.

Stop spending your money on "things" to fix the rock. Ditch it. When you get some money, buy some new LR.

Simple. Effective.

Then keep 2-3 peppermints to keep the Aptasia under control when you ditch the rock, because they spread and will grow very easily.

The problem is the syringe method won't do much, there's too much.
You really should think about taking out the infected rocks, treat them in a separate tank with aip-x or pour boiling water over them just be sure.
I prefer bleaching them right away, use normal household bleach in a 1:10 ratio with tapwater. Kills pretty much anything

Pull the rocks infested and let them dry for over a week. that should kill everything on the rock. Soon enough you will grow the beneficial bacteria by seeding it with other LR.

if i were to pull the rock out, leave it sit in sun for a week? then what? put it back in tank? what do i do with everything thats living in the tank?

wont it cycle again?

Let's see a full tank shot of the tank, to see on what kind of scale we're working with.

im embarrassed but ok.......................the biggest aips are in the sand believe it or not, i never should have let it get this way but, all i can do is go from here...................pic in a few minutes

If it's THAT bad, it would be less of a headache to remove all the rock, half the sand, and start over.

Sure, it costs more, but a FAR less headache dealing with this and that to treat this, plus that for this, etc.

But we need to see a few pictures of the tank.

full tank, then left and right side..............i removed alot off the top center yest cuz it was mostly dead coral anyhow
, what about turning the rocks over? doesnt this deny them light and kill them? doesnt do much for the mosnters in the sand i guess

and heres what it used to look like 4-5 yrs ago, its depressing, my seabae is half the size it used to be and i lost all the coral

WOW!

Now what you really need to do, if you want to get back in this hobby, is find a LFS/service that will come and professionally collect your fish.

Let the LFS handle them in prep tanks for a month.

'Nuke the tank, kill everything. Take out 50% of the rock and sand, and replenish with 50% LS and 50% brand new LR.

Collect fish from LFS a month, month and a half later.

EDIT: This is what "I" would do if I were in your situation, and really wanted to get back in the hobby.

unbelievably , the only salt place within an hour is petco..........it sux where i live..............id love to start over, i just cant........so please explore other options, i know its the easiest, and i agree, its just not feesable ..............i could buy a small tank and put all my fish in there but...........im not really sure what to do, id like to just turn the rock, or treat it or something..............i dont wana lose the 4 anemones

Start doing water changes get calcium alk where they should be, and get those berghia nudibranchs. Guarantee you in a couple of months you and your tank will feel better.

Fish are cool by the way, it just that those aptasia are soo aggresive. A copperband butterfly would make short work of those Aptasia by the way. Not sure if they would bug the anemonees or not.

If it were mine I would nuke every aiptasia I seen every single day. I had a similar problem in one of my tanks and just used a whole bottle of aiptasia x in about 1 week and added about 10 peppermint shrimp. I will see an aiptasia about once week but it disappears because of the peps. The rocks that are easily removed just take them out and soak them in bleach water for a couple of hours and then let them dry for a day or 2 in the sun. Put them right back in the tank. Don't do them all at once just a couple at a time.

The rock does look bad, but do NOT nuke the tank, do NOT pull the rock out and boil it or anything. There is a product available at many a LF called red slime control. It's made by a company called Blue Vet. Use the recommended dosage and be sure to remove carbon and turn off your skimmer while it's in use. I have used this stuff and it works EVERY SINGLE TIME!
