Pulled this off of some zoanthids. They were all closed up. I hope it's not eating them. Any idea what this thing is?

zoa eating nudibranch...he's nice and fat,,,breeding and egg laying size,,lolol...
Look for more nudis and eggs casings on your zoas...dont be lazy about it,,they will get out of control easily..then youll have a mess on your hands..
Nudis are like mice,,,for every one you see ,,hopefully theres no more you dont see...

I always think of the saying you are what you eat when looking at nudis (hmm that sounds wrong...). Nudis do it really well though, lettuce eat ... well algae, fuzzy polyp looking things eat polyps.

As mentioned, look for egg sacks on the zoa stalks and scrape them off with the side of a toothpick.

get a green coris or yellow coris wrasse,,they are my choices,,they will eat nudis 24/7...always best to QT corals/fish to avoid these kind of problems in a DT..
Do a search on the internet for "Flatworm Exit Nudibranch treatmeant"..
All your efforts in getting rid of nudis will be limited til you get ALL the egg sacks out of your display and hopefully they dont lay more eggs...
they can be tough to get rid of..

it MIGHT be a berghia nudibranch.... but they are supposed to eat aiptasia not zoas. A yellow coris wrasse or a green sea wrasse will do the job

They are eating my zoanthids. I bought I blue head because that's all that was available at the lfs. I looked them up and they are suppose to eat nudibranches and other pests.

that wrasse probably do a good job but the green/yellow coris wrasses do a kick a$$ job of bug hunting..Halicoris (spelling) genus is labeled as the best for this situation..I have some of each and they are non stop bug hunters,,eats flake mysis but goes right back to bug hunting..
