What is this critter?

divers den,,look at Fish Tank Only Wrasses,,I will vouch that the green/yellow haliocoris wrasses are reef safe....I have 3 reef tanks with both wrasses in each tank and things are good..
Thanks for the feedback. I'm still on the lookout for the Halichoeres species.

What in the world is this?

Melanarus, yellow coris wrasse. I had some flatworms banging around and added some wrasse. Game over in 3 days. Lol. Cool to watch them murder everything.

usually six line wrasses get atitude problems very often,,dont let that small size fool you..take him back if you can...stay with the Halicoris family of wrasses and youll be good
Picked up a yellow coris last night at the lfs. Also got a sixline and blue head over the weekend.

I've heard that, but have never seen it in person. I've owned a few in the past without problems. The blue head harassed the sixline right away but totally ignored the yellow wrasse. They all seem to get along very well at the moment.

get a green coris or yellow coris wrasse,,they are my choices,,they will eat nudis 24/7...always best to QT corals/fish to avoid these kind of problems in a DT..
Do a search on the internet for "Flatworm Exit Nudibranch treatmeant"..
All your efforts in getting rid of nudis will be limited til you get ALL the egg sacks out of your display and hopefully they dont lay more eggs...
they can be tough to get rid of..

Found a yellow coris wrasse Monday, added to the tank and it hasn't touched them damn things. :(

Also have a blue head & sixline. They don't touch them either.

A sea grass wrasse is one that is definitely suppose to eat them, but can't find them anywhere, not even online.

Bought a 6" red coris wrasse off of a local reefer and overnight it destroyed the nudibranch population and all my polyps have opened up and seem to be doing great now.
