Also, I've had it in my tank 2 days. Now, half of it is receded and the other half extended. I did change my lighting a bit by increasing the kelvin from about 11k to 16k and increased intensity. I've turned off my power heads and turned them on trying to get it to open back up but nothing seems to prompt it to open back up.
No critters have messed with it.
