What is this Flatworm on My LFS bought FRAG PLUG

I need an ID on this Flatworm.

I picked up a Zoa plug from a LFS, and found this Worm on the underside while dipping.

I scraped it off and double dipped the Frag Plug.

Still in quarantine till I get an ID.

Not that I would ever introduce anything other than a Coral into tank (voluntarily).

Is this the Dreaded Acropora Eating Flatworm? (From picture searches the AEFW look different).

Plug isn't going into my SPS only tank anyway. Going into my LPS tank, however if AEFW ID, then I'm trashing it (since I don't want any chances of a bad worm in any of my systems).

Or (was it) a harmless worm? Good worm? (Gone anyway). Any chances of invisible eggs hanging around?

Thanks for input so far. (More google searches appear to confirm this is a Chiton, which is harmless, but taking no chances)

Scraped Pod extra clean. Lightly scrubbed the Zoa side, and dipping again before placing in tank.

Chitons. I had one I found under a frag plug around 1cm long. A month ago I saw him again at least 4cm long. Kinda scared me at first.

Many thanks.

Great web site for critter ID.

Wish I had this before. Possibly would have kept them.

however sometimes it's best to have less in ones tank.
too many good thing under ideal conditions could lead to population explosions which isn't always good.

Some good critters just look too creepy, some bad ones look cool

thanks again

Can someone tell me what is this is eating all my sps

It's hard to tell in that picture, the shape to me looks like am Amphipod, which is harmless to SPS.

But the texture and color does look like a bristleworm, which is also harmless to SPS.

The only thing I heard that eats SPS is the Acorpora Eatting Flatworm, and your picture isn't one of those. They are Flat, and you should be looking for eggs on your SPS.

What makes you think something is eating your SPS? , and not simply SPS bleaching or dying off by many other possible causes. Has happened to me before. Many causes, and I have done them all. (Ligthing changes, Alk/temp swings, strong direct water flow, Algae Suffocation, etc). Are all your SPS having issues, or just the one in the picture?

Where do your SPS die off (From bottom, from tips, fade out all over?). Do you have any progressive shots of the SPS going from good, to bad, to all dead?
