I'm in need of assistance here.

First let me say, I have seen some Ich spots on my fish come and go for almost 2 years. Not having much luck with QT, I have just tried to provide the best enviroment possible for my display. After nearly 6 months of not seeing anything, around 2 months ago I had spots reapperaing on a tang, an angel and my 2 anthias again. Then a week ago I lost the tang.

This entire time I have never seen a single spot on my clowns. Not one. Even yesterday, I was closely observing the tank and the clowns.

This morning they both look like a glazed doughnut.
It doesnt "look" like Ich spots but I dont know what else it could be. To be honest, I've never been very good in the fish diesase department.

Just to give a little recent history: I have not added ANY fish to the display in almost 2 years. I have been recently adding some coral frags, 2 days ago I did a normal weekly 40g water change but at the same time, I removed my skimmer. (Its been sold and I am waiting on a new one.) Yesterday I turned on my MH for the first time in Several months, for 1 hour to acclimate to the increased lighting...

Does this look like an explosion of Ich in less then 24 hours or do I have another problem?

It sounds like the fish have Amlyoodinium not ick if it acted that fast, but you should quarinteen the sick ones and treat them with something like malachite green and even if it is ick it should cure them
