What Is This Odd Hitchhicker?

man this thing is aggressive! it literally made my anemone move from its spot. i think it is some sort of mushroom but i really don't know so if you do this would be a great help. it is green around the edges and it looks like a yuma but i don't know to much about them. thanks for any help you can provide!

oh, also for a size comparison, the rid above it is almost 2.5 inches around and in the pic you can see about 1/4 of it so i would say the unidentified coral is about 1 inch in diameter.
