What is this on my blue tang?

My wife just called. She says the blue tang has 5 short white things on her. She says it looks as though it's coming from inside her body. She said they look like a small pimple. Our neon goby either picked one off her or it went back into the body of the tang. I don't have pics as I'm not there. Any thoughts? I usually use Metro to treat for most things. Is that the appropriate medication? She is eating and swimming normal

Actually, she just called and said they are actually coming from the neon goby. So, either way, anyone know what this may be.

My blue tang started rubbing real bad a few weeks after I got it. I tried QT with copper and had no luck. So I tried doing water changes daily for 2 weeks and it just seemed to get worse. Finally, for my last ditch effort before it died, I gave it a freshwater dip. Thats when some kind of white puss pockets started bursting out of its skin. Kinda looked like zitz poping. Well, needless to say it died a few minutes later. Never quite thought it was ich because there never was any spots. It just rubbed its skin off.
