Does anyone have any idea what this purple stuff is covering my button polyps. The polyps came with a few other frags of different corals. My LFS gave them to me because they were not looking good and they were just going to throw them out. After the first few days, they opened up and looked fine, then this started. Everything else seems to be doing well. Any ideas?

It's only on this frag. All of the others seem to be fine. I had an outbreak of what I thought was cyano..it was brown and on the glass, substrate etc. I've read that newly cycled tanks will experience this and I got it under control pretty quickly..but again that was brown, this is a deep purple and only covering these polyps. Should I try a peroxide dip or just go with water changes and see what happens?
