What is this on my candy cane?

I'm new to the hobby so I figured I'd start off here. I have just started and I started with a 5 gal which I knew from the start will be upgraded to a 32 gal led biocube after Christmas. So far everything is going well. I have stayed on top of things and am learning a lot. I also grow orchids so I'm use to working on something everyday and addressing needs as soon as they are detected.

Now the question I have is that I found this new bubble/blister on my candy cane today. What is it? What do I need to do?

I'm sorry if this is something easily found in search. I don't even know how/what to search for with this.

Water parameters taken yesterday night were as follows:
Ph: 8.1
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: ~10
Phosphates <0.25 (API kit so this is the lowest resolution)
Calcium: 460
Kh: 10-11
Salinity: 1.026

Please see attached photos: 3 of the anomaly.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not exactly sure why this is happening, but seeing a bubble like that is actually quite common for LPS corals. Definitely keep your eye on it, but in most cases these things just work themselves out over time.

So one last look before bed and it's gone? And maybe another mouth forming in a different spot? In the chat I had some help and suggestions that it is a polyp bailout.
