What is this on my glass?

I saw a small segment of what appears to be a curly worm on the back wall of my tank last night. I presumed is was "sticky poop" from the Kole tang who did look guilty with an "Excuse me" look on his face!

This morning, there are two, rather long "worms" on the glass. Of note, the pictured snail that is surrounded by the one of the right has moved on and is safe!

Is this a spagehtti worm? I have seen similar looking critters surrounded by particles of sand, living around the bases of LR on my sand bed. Should I be worried and remove them, or let the critters be?

And I thought your tank was acrylic. : )

I figured if I wrote, "What's on the most anterior, protruding aspect of my plastic tank?", you'd really think I was a nerd. So I have forced to false advertise!
